A comprehensive study of the attitudes of the Latvian population towards foreign and security policy

In cooperation with the SKDS opinion research institute, our FES regional office in Riga has conducted an extensive study on the attitudes of the Latvian population towards foreign and security policy and especially towards the war in Ukraine. The survey was based on the responses of 2,000 representative participants via an online questionnaire and in personal interviews. The study pays particular attention to the attitudes of the Russian-speaking minority in Latvia. The weekly magazine "Ir" presented the results of the study to the Latvian society.

Reinhard Veser summarized the most important results in his article for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung
(in German).
