Honours of Ülle Kesküla

A wonderful evening in Tallinn on March 20th in honours of Ülle Kesküla, who was bid farewell on her well-deserved retirement. Many partner organisations came that brought plenty of flowers and had only words of praise for her.

Ülle had led the Estonian office of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung for 31 years. From the years immediately after the regained independence, during the accessions to the European Union and NATO up until the year of 2024. The FES is deeply grateful to Ülle for the numerous years together. A job well done.

The regional office of the FES in the Baltic countries will naturally continue the successful work in Estonia – in turbulent times concerning security politics.
